About Persian Mashad Rug: This beautiful rug was hand-woven in Mashad. Mashad carpets are authentic Oriental carpets which are easy to recognize with their famous medallions surrounded by floral motifs. They are often dominated by red tones, with blue tones in the border. High-quality wool is used, giving a hardwearing carpet. Typical knot density of Mashad rug can be 160,000 – 260,000 knots sqm. All vintage & antique rugs that we are selling were produced years ago with love by nomads and are treasures of the past. They have been professionally washed, cleaned and restored. Due to the vintage/antique nature of our rugs, there may be imperfections and signs of wear which rather enhance the feel and beauty of these rugs.
