About Persian Shiraz Rug: This beautiful rug was hand-woven in Shiraz, located in the southern part of Iran. Shiraz rugs are woven on a cotton or wool foundation with a woollen pile. These nomadic rugs are geometrical in style, and extremely hard wearing with average knot count around 120 KPSI.
All vintage & antique rugs that we are selling were produced years ago with love by nomads and are treasures of the past. They have been professionally washed, cleaned and restored. Due to the vintage/antique nature of our rugs, there may be imperfections and signs of wear which rather enhance the feel and beauty of these rugs.
