This distressed vintage Persian rug was hand-knotted in Tabriz, Iran and selected for its wool pile, cotton foundation, ornate medallion design, and authentic vintage character. Its lower pile gives the rug a faded decorative surface while keeping rich Persian detail visible.
The design features a blue and teal central field with a large cream, red, and soft gold floral medallion, framed by pale aqua corner sections and a muted red-brown border. The distressed finish softens the strong pattern, giving the rug an aged and character-filled appearance. With its 288 x 380 cm size, this rug works beautifully in large living rooms, bedrooms, dining spaces, or feature areas.
This rug has a strong blue-toned centre that naturally becomes the focus of the room. Its restored surface balances ornate Persian detail with softened wear, giving the space colour, depth, and a one-of-a-kind vintage presence.
