About Overdyed Rug: This beautiful rug was hand-woven in the 1970s in Tabriz, Iran. Later, this vintage rug was shaved down to a low pile, deep washed and then re-dyed (overdyed) one colour. Overdyed rugs have a low pile height. Over-dyed rugs keep the traditional style with a modern twist. Overdyed rugs are shaved rugs so they do not have a soft pile.
