About Overdyed Rug: This beautiful rug was hand-woven in 1970's in Tabriz, Iran. Later, this vintage rug has been shaved down to a low pile, deep washed and then re-dyed (overdyed) one colour. Overdyed rugs have a low pile height. Over-dyed rugs keeps the traditional style with a modern twist. Overdyed rugs are shaved rugs so they do not have a soft pile.
All vintage & antique rugs that we are selling were produced years ago with love by nomads and are treasures of the past. They have been professionally washed, cleaned and restored. Due to the vintage/antique nature of our rugs, there may be imperfections and signs of wear which rather enhance the feel and beauty of these rugs.
