Questions before you buy?
Need help with sizing, styling or choosing the right rug?
This hand-knotted distressed vintage rug is selected for its wool pile on a cotton foundation, handmade construction and intentionally softened vintage finish. The distressed treatment reduces the visual weight of the original pattern while retaining its traditional character.
The design features a deep navy field centred by an ornate red and ivory floral medallion, framed with colourful floral guard stripes and a detailed border. With its 245 x 336 cm size, this piece works well in living rooms, dining areas, larger bedrooms or open-plan spaces, where its pattern and colour can become a strong decorative feature.
Distressed vintage rugs retain the structure of traditional patterning while a softened, time-worn finish gives the surface a relaxed character. This piece has been professionally washed, cleaned and restored, ready to enjoy while retaining the natural character of a handmade rug.
