This distressed vintage Persian rug was hand-knotted in Tabriz, Iran in the 1970s and selected for its shaved wool texture, muted aged surface, and authentic vintage character. Its lower pile gives the rug a soft distressed appearance with subtle traditional pattern traces.
The design features muted taupe, beige, grey, faded blue, brown, and worn ivory tones. The Persian pattern appears gently through the surface, with a softened central design and faint border detail that create a quiet, antique-style look.
