Questions before you buy?
Need help with sizing, styling or choosing the right rug?
This overdyed hand knotted vintage runner was traditionally woven and selected for its dark charcoal colour, shaved wool surface, and understated modern vintage character. Its low-pile finish makes it easy to style in contemporary interiors while keeping a handmade foundation.
The design features a charcoal grey and smoky black overdyed surface with faint panel-like lines, subtle distressed texture, and soft tonal variation across the length. With its 83 x 383 cm size, this vintage runner is ideal for hallways, entrances, corridors, beside beds, or long narrow spaces where a dark neutral rug can add depth and texture.
Overdyed runners are valued for their aged surface, modern colour balance, and unique handmade appearance. This vintage piece has been professionally washed, cleaned, restored, shaved to a low pile, and overdyed, making it ready for everyday styling.
