Vintage Distressed Rug – Coral Mirage

This distressed hand knotted vintage rug was traditionally woven and selected for its soft coral field, wool pile, handmade construction, and elegant faded finish. Its generous proportions make it ideal for larger New Zealand homes.

The design features a pale blue and ivory central medallion, soft coral-red field, floral details, and a muted taupe border with subtle blue accents. With its 305 x 383 cm size, this piece works beautifully in living rooms, dining rooms, open-plan spaces, or large bedrooms where a handmade rug can add warmth, softness, and structure.

Distressed rugs are known for their faded colour palettes, low-pile finish, and relaxed aged character. This vintage piece has been professionally washed, cleaned, restored, and finished to create its one-of-a-kind worn look.
