Vintage Distressed Rug – Parchment Fade

This distressed vintage rug was hand-knotted in the Tabriz style in the 1970s and selected for its shaved wool texture, geometric medallion layout, and authentic vintage character. Its lower pile gives the rug a faded surface with a softly worn tribal- look.

The design features dusty salmon, faded pink, pale blue, turquoise, cream, beige, taupe, and muted charcoal details. A large diamond-shaped medallion sits across the centre, surrounded by geometric motifs and a faded patterned border. With its 297 x 372 cm size, this rug works beautifully in large living rooms, open-plan interiors, dining spaces, or rooms needing a soft geometric vintage statement.

Distressed vintage rugs are known for their faded colour, softened vintage texture, worn pattern detail, and aged decorative character. This vintage piece has been professionally washed, cleaned, and restored, making it ready to use while preserving its aged colour, texture, and one-of-a-kind character.
