Mashad carpets are authentic Oriental carpets which are easy to recognize with their famous medallions surrounded by floral motifs. They are often dominated by red tones, with blue tones in the border. High-quality wool is used, giving a hardwearing carpet. Typical knot density of Mashad rug can be 160,000 – 260,000 knots sqm.
