About Distressed Rug: This beautiful rug was hand-woven in the 1970s in Kerman, Iran. Later, this vintage rug was shaved down to a lower pile to make it a faded rug on purpose. Distressed Rugs represent a trend that has achieved a crossover between fashion and home décor. This new look celebrates rugs that are faded, and worn over time; rugs that nestle into homes as if they’ve always been there. Distressed rugs are shaved rugs so they do not have a soft pile.
All vintage & antique rugs that we are selling were produced years ago with love by nomads and are treasures of the past. They have been professionally washed, cleaned and restored. Due to the vintage/antique nature of our rugs, there may be imperfections and signs of wear which rather enhance the feel and beauty of these rugs.
