Kilim Afghan Rug – Ocean Diamond

This hand-woven Afghan Kilim rug was made in Afghanistan and selected for its flat-woven wool texture, vegetable-dyed colour, vertical diamond layout, and authentic handmade character. Its narrow shape gives the piece a strong decorative rhythm for small spaces.

The design features a charcoal-brown outer field with aqua blue side panels, mustard yellow borders, cream sections, olive green, navy, rust brown, and muted purple details. A column of diamond motifs runs through the centre, framed by small cross-like motifs and hooked border patterns. With its 76 x 130 cm size, this rug works beautifully in entrances, beside a bed, compact hallways, or layered accent spaces.

This Kilim has a darker and more grounded look than lighter pastel pieces, while the aqua panels keep it fresh. The repeated diamonds and flat-woven wool surface bring structure, colour, and Afghan textile character into smaller rooms.
