This hand-woven Afghan Kilim rug was made in Afghanistan and selected for its flat-woven wool texture, vegetable-dyed colour, abstract stripe work, and authentic handmade character. Its layered colour bands give the piece a relaxed textile-inspired look.
The design features rust, coral, teal, turquoise, cream, black, purple, burgundy, sage, mustard, and soft grey tones arranged in wide horizontal sections. The irregular edges of each band create a handwoven movement across the rug. With its 152 x 203 cm size, this rug works beautifully in bedrooms, sitting areas, home offices, or modern rustic interiors.
This piece is ideal for spaces that need colour without a formal border or central motif. Its flat weave, painterly bands, and earthy-bright palette bring warmth, movement, and Afghan handmade character.
