About Persian Bakhtiari Rug: This beautiful rug was hand-knotted by nomads of the Bakhtiari tribe. Bakhtiari carpets are made of strong and sturdy wool. They are knotted from thick wool, which reduces their deterioration. In many places Bakhtiar carpets are made with motifs inspired by gardens. The Chesti pattern features design with plants and animals from nature. They are inspired by typical Persian gardens.
All vintage & antique rugs that we are selling were produced years ago with love by nomads and are treasures of the past. They have been professionally washed, cleaned and restored. Due to the vintage/antique nature of our rugs, there may be imperfections and signs of wear which rather enhance the feel and beauty of these rugs.
