This Afghan Biljik rug was hand-knotted in Afghanistan and selected for its pure wool pile, natural dyes, carmine red field, and finely repeated motif design. Its structured border gives the rug a strong traditional frame.
The design features deep carmine red, burgundy, black, cream, dark brown, and muted rust tones. Small repeated gul-style motifs cover the central field, while layered borders in darker red and black create a crisp rectangular frame. With its 195 x 290 cm size, this rug works beautifully in living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, or formal sitting spaces.
